A Season of Shifts, and Seeds Still Growing

As summer rolls on, we’ve made the tough decision to end our Jr. Rangers program a little earlier than planned. It wasn’t easy — we’ve loved every curious question, and moment of laughter shared . But sometimes life calls for a shift in pace, and we’ve learned to listen.

That said, Heartsmith isn’t slowing down — not really. We’re still offering one-on-one support to a very special Jr. Ranger right here on the property, and behind the scenes, something new has quietly been taking root.

Over the past few months, we’ve been holding space for individuals facing serious housing challenges — something far too many are struggling with right now. Whether it’s offering a temporary place to park a camper, share a warm meal, or simply breathe in a judgment-free zone, we’re stepping into the deeper work this land seems to have been waiting for us to do.

This — this — is the calling I felt in my bones when we first found this place. A space where healing, rebuilding, and being truly seen are possible. The pieces are falling together in ways I never could’ve planned.
