Summer Program Volunteers
In 2026, our biggest focus is growing our nature-based Kids’ Summer Program, and we’re looking for caring adults and responsible teens to help make it happen.
This is a great fit for:
High school and college students looking to earn community service or volunteer hours
Future teachers, social workers, counselors, or outdoor educators
Anyone who loves kids, nature, and hands-on learning
Summer volunteers might:
Help guide small groups during activities and nature walks
Support art, journaling, and craft stations
Assist with snack and meal time
Set up and clean up daily program spaces
Cheer kids on, listen, and help create a welcoming, safe environment
If you need documentation of hours for school, clubs, or scholarships, we’re happy to sign off on approved volunteer hours.
Homestead & Land Stewards
Our 25 acres are slowly transforming into a space for healing, play, and community care—and that takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work.
We’re especially looking for volunteers who are:
Willing to weed-whack, trim trees, and clear branches in our forest areas
Comfortable using a tractor/backhoe or have experience digging trenches or holes
Familiar with rerouting rainwater or non-traditional septic setups
Up for spreading gravel, moving materials, or helping with small build projects
