We started this journey with a simple vision: to create a sanctuary where everyone has the opportunity to Learn, Play, and Grow in a supportive, inclusive environment.
At Heartsmith, we’re transforming 25 acres in rural Pennsylvania into a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for healing, creativity, and community care.
Right now, we’re focused on building the foundation of that vision—step by step, season by season.
In 2026, our main priority is expanding and strengthening our Kids’ Summer Program. We’re working to:
Serve more children
Deepen the nature-based experience
Build stronger social-emotional learning components
Create something sustainable, impactful, and rooted in joy
While our land is still growing into its full potential, we’re already building something meaningful—and we’re not doing it alone. We’re proud to partner with local nonprofits, organizations, and neighbors to share resources and create a collaborative support network across our county and beyond.
Heartsmith exists to be a place where people can reconnect with themselves, with each other, and with the earth—and take part in shaping a community grounded in compassion.
