About Us

At Heartsmith, we’re transforming 25 acres in rural Pennsylvania into a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for healing, creativity, and community care.

Right now, we’re actively building out the foundation of this vision — step by step. We’re installing vital infrastructure like a shared bathhouse, RV hookups, and transitional living spaces to support individuals who need time and space to regroup, heal, and reimagine what thriving can look like.

Alongside these physical structures, we’re cultivating a culture rooted in kindness, respect, and gratitude — one that welcomes people as they are and honors the diverse ways healing happens.

Our offerings include:

• Creative workshops and hands-on skill-building

• Mental health support circles and one-on-one peer support

• Farmer’s market outreach and community-based events

• Seasonal gatherings

• In The Works; Transitional housing, and campgrounds

While our land is still growing into its full potential, we’re already building something meaningful — and not alone. We’re proud to partner with other local nonprofits, organizations, and individuals to share resources, and build a collaborative support network across our county and beyond.
